Excellent tour that gives a perfect taste of the Douro valley. You visit two wineries: one for a Port tasting and one for a wine tasting. The explanations at the two sites were nicely complementary. There were a couple of photo breaks on the journey to/from the valley. Lunch was excellent and very generous. The boat trip was a relaxing way to end the day before heading back to Porto. The guide who was with us on minibus gave a lot of great information the whole time.
Pick up from our Airbnb was convenient and prompt. Our tour guide, Ivo was knowledgeable and fun and answered all of our questions patiently. Douro Valley is breathtakingly beautiful and with the visits to 2 different wineries gave us good insight and knowledge about the area, Port wine making and families who have lived in the area for hundreds of years. Highly recommend the tour!
A really entertaining and comfortable trip. We've met interesting people from all over the world, have travelled through an amazing landscape and tasted great port wine. It was worth time and money :)!
Excellent day out in the stunning Douro valley. 2 small but wonderful port winery tours and tasting along with an excellent lunch and boat trip. The itinerary was just right.
Good option. If already seen everything from Porto, take a time to visit the Douro region. It’s a relaxing travel. Area is good, wines are good and people is nice.
