What people are saying about Paris

Mont-Saint-Michel . . . crowded but worth it.

We travelled by bus from Paris for 4 hours, stopping once along the way for refreshments. The bus was comfortable and left Paris on time. Watching the countryside and seeing Saint Michel rise up from the horizon was awesome. The only drawback of this tour is that Saint Michel is so crowded that you have to push your way through the only entrance gate and once you get in, the crowds are shoulder to shoulder. It was so crowded that we did not even make it to the Abbey because of all of the pushing and shoving. We were able to walk along the wall for great views and to have a lovely luncheon before we climbed back aboard the bus for the 4 hour trip back to Paris. 4 hours on the bus, 4 hours at Saint Michel, and 4 hours back. The tour guides were helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. They could not have done anything any better for this tour.

Exceeded my expectations! Incredible day!

The meeting location is easy to find. When we arrived they provided a small (delicious) pastry and coffee/tea. Our tour guide (and driver) Matthieu was fun, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. We took a small van, (maximum: 8 people including the driver). The drive was easy. We started at Tattinger whose cellars blew my mind. Then we went to a small champagne house: Vincent Brochet. The namesake and owner gave us the tour followed by lunch & dessert which was wonderful. After we went to another small champagne house and had another very laid back tasting. They promised 7-8 glasses over the course of the day, I think we had more like 10-12. Thank you so much!

We walked there and did not do the tour. We walked the Louvre first

We were so tired after the Lourve and then walking to The Arc de Triomphe was not as appealing. If you have to do it in the same day because we are excercise nuts. Take a taxi! Stopped at a quaint Italian pizzeria - Rodrigo was amazing. Have us sustenance to make the rest of the journey!

made meaningful my first evening in Paris

Around 8pm first evening in Paris, went to the arc around 9pm, without waiting on the long queues we quickly got in and could enjoy a beautiful day and night view over Paris and Eiffel Tower. It was a perfect idea because almost nothing else we could do with so little time and effort.

Brilliant ! The best I ever experienced!

Charlie was most knowledgeable and witty guide! 2 hours of sheer joy and learnt so much about French history in general and Notre Dame in particular! Rain added little more spice ! Just loved every minute of my trip !
