This trip packs a lot into a 3 day itinerary. The national parks are spectacular and definitely worth seeing. However they are spaced pretty far apart so you end up spending at least 3-6 hours per day in the van. Our guide did a good job of keeping us entertained in the van and also planned rest stops every 2 hours to break up the travel. There are several opportunities to go hiking but most of the hiking is optional (except for the Grand canyon rim walk - an easy 1h walk). If you are looking for an intensive hiking experience you won't have enough time. Day 1 included about 3 hours to hike in Zion and 2 hours in Bryce, which is not enough to do the Angels Landing hike if that's your thing. Day 2 did not include any time for hiking and was more for sightseeing. On day 3 we had 3 hours to hike the grand canyon. About half the people chose camping, and the other half a hotel. Hotel accommodations were good.
Tour bus with 50 passengers. Tour to Lower Antelope Canyon divided into groups of 10. Mark was the tour guide speaking in English and Mandarin, as a majority of tourists were Chinese. Drive was 4 1/2 hours from Las Vegas. Pastry and submarine sandwiches and bottle water provided. Mark kept us on schedule. Very enjoyable though the ride was long. Tour guide knowledgeable and driver stopped for 25 minutes for a restroom break each way. Great trip!
Great guide and visit / Antelope Canyon & Horseshoe Bend Review of Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend Small Group Tour from Las Vegas Reviewed 1 week ago I have visited yesterday the Antelope Canyon & Horseshoe Bend, it was a real amazing experience. Some landscapes I will never forget. Moreover, our guide Paul was really great, showing a knowledge & a passion I have rarely seen. I highly recommend this tour ! Nicolas (french)
This 3-Day Tour is surprisingly pleasant and offers some great tourist experiences in the southwest of the United States. Too bad we couldn't spend more time in Sedona, Az, because the views and hiking options are excellent. Might go there next time. The trip to Monument Valley was worth it. Valley of Fire was a pleasant stop on the way back to Las Vegas.
We enjoyed the Canyon very much. Very beautiful. Guides were very helpful to explain the history and how water carved out the canyons. We greatly enjoyed this tour. Guide was super nice and helpful. Showed my husband how to reset camera setting to take the best photos. Had plenty of cold water for us after tour.
