What people are saying about Oslo

Great way to learn about Denmark outside of the capital!

This tour is a must do while in Denmark. It might feel costly, but it's a live history lesson for a day, so it is worth it. You will see the VIking's Ship Museum, a place that not only holds five ancient Viking ships (thus the name) but it also has a workshop where skilled workers build new Viking ships modeling the old techniques and materials. You will see the Rosklide Cathedral, a gorgeous cathedral which remains the focal point for all major events involving Danish royals (weddings, baptisms, burials....). In addition to touring the Hamlet's Castle, you will also visit the Fredericksborg Palace which must be one of the more beautiful historic monuments in the world. From the beautiful art, to antique furniture, to vast gardens -- it truly has everything to enchant you. My favorite -- the old church. It is simply lovely. I truly recommend this tour.

Incredible site visit's if you only have one day to see the peak point

Fantastic venue for the day with all the sites. Perfect if you only have a day to see as much as possible and the peak points. Note to guide....... his voice doesn't carry very far and hard to hear so always use the VAN speaker when talking to the group in the VAN. Also....... if Departure time is 9:30AM the bus should leave at 9:30AM for those on time and not wait for those that are late. Because the bus waited almost 20 minutes for 3 additional late people we had to rush through the Viking Museum with only 40 minutes so see it all and not nearly enough time.

Immaculate sailing vessel, polite crew, and beautiful scenery

The sightseeing tour was aboard an old, but immaculately maintained wooden sailing schooner(?). The crew was very polite and motored the boat around the fjord with great skill. The commentary was minimal and I would have liked more details about the history, natural history as well as the flora and fauna that live in around the fjord. Being October, it got quite chilly aboard, but the crew brought out mounds of blankets to wrap up in, and supplied yummy warm drinks. The wooden folding chairs were rickety and uncomfortable but no one seemed to mind.

Wonderful, insightful and relaxing experience!

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The boat that we travelled on was amazing, and the set up with open style picnic tables made this really enjoyable. The guidance was enjoyable and relevant, and the sights along the way made me really fall in love with Oslo!

So many things to see in one day, such an interesting guide!

I think my guide's name was Benji. We covered so much ground, and he gave us much information in an upbeat interesting fashion. He took us to the castle ballrooms as well as the underground jails. Thoroughly enjoyed the day.
