What people are saying about Odessa
... just came back from the trip. . Perfect organization - thanks for supporting despite of difficult situation with CoronaVirus ... (March 2020) Everything was more than expected. We are really inspired about the chain of supporting people. ...Olga from http://greentourua.com/ who organized everything, our driver Żenia from Odessa, local driver in Nadniestrze (Tiaspol citizen who had to wake up at 4.30 a.m to wait for us in Odessa morning), Katia (perfect Tiraspol introduction and visiting + nice English) and finally Adriej who takes us from Nadniestrze border and show us Bendery City... very professional and helpful guy - what's more his English was perfect and his knowledge about history and current situation is on professional level ++++ ... Even if Nadniestrze seems be crazy place for majority people (personally we like it very much but we understand that not everybody can like this) again many thanx for perfect organization, support and finding solution for all cases
After two busy days seeing all the historic sites above and below ground in Odessa this was a lovely way to spend our final morning. Our guide Natalya took us to numerous hidden courtyards and gave us a real feel for what this beautiful city was like to live in from the perspective of its residents. Natalya was incredibly knowledgeable on all aspects of the history and life of the city and extremely patient in answering our many questions. She was happy to show us a couple of additional buildings we were curious about and even helped us organise a trip to the opera. Many thanks!
I went with my girlfriend on this tour. We enjoyed it very much. During the trip from Odessa to the Dnieper the guide told us interesting facts about Odessa. The guide spoke good English. Than we had a beautiful tour with a fast boat on the Dnieper Delta with Anatoliy who knew a lot about the nature here, and the specific animals and plants in this yet undiscovered but beautiful nature of Ukraine. Anatoliy was very hospitable and we had a great time with him. We lunched on a beautiful place next to the river and had homemade food. All in all I would like to recommend this tour.
With only a few days to spend in Odessa on this trip, the private guided half-day tour was a perfect way to see and learn as much as possible in a short amount of time. Four hours is plenty of time to see central Odessa and get a solid introduction to the town and its history. The guide is catered to your own interests, and so there's flexibility to what you see and do. Highly recommend this for anyone who wants to get a taste of the city and its history.
Natasha was very knowledgeable about this city. I loved the stories, gossips and personal anecdotes. She really knows her history.
