Food tour highlites mini veggie sticks immersed in a saffron sauce covered in a mozzarella mound, a pizza delight. Next stop the fish market pass tray of dried smoked salmon morsels marinated in teriyaki, maple syrup and lathered in hot spices. We meandered over to the wine bar for a cab sav and merlot tasting then we exited the building to view pictures and tablets of yesterday’s shipbuilders. Up the street to the ice creamery a fav in the area...notice the veggie boxes along the way...easy pickings! Final stroll to the art wall for a quick pic with the family to remember our visit. The sweetest surprise was the aroma emanating from the warm bun shop...the buns are filled with coconut, chocolate and maple syrup. It’s a must stop and my favorite. Add another experience by taking the Seabus from downtown Vancouver to North Vancouver. The Shipyard tour is appealing to all ages, offers variety, shipyard history, and a tasting of the areas foods.
