Full description
Explore Museo Reina Sofía, and visit some of the outstanding rooms in chronological order. Get to know the artistic trends at the end of the 19th century to the present. Discover how the social, economic and politic context may influence art and create avant-garde currents. This tour gives you a unique experience to discover the most innovative museum in the Golden Triangle of arts.

Walk through rooms that exhibit cubism works by Juan Gris, surrealism paintings by Joan Miró, and get closer to the Generation of 27 and its most famous members: Lorca, Buñuel and the amazing Salvador Dalí, whose artworks are displayed in different rooms of the museum. Be amazed while the guide tells you incredible anecdotes and details about Dalí’s life and Dalí’s personality. Admire the reflection of extravagant ideas in paintings such as “The Great Masturbator” or “Endless Enigma”.

After a great visit to the Museum, see one of the most impressive paintings in the world: El Guernica. Take your time to contemplate to see the characters and the motifs where Picasso materialized his own feelings when Guernica was bombed. Many sketches and drafts are displayed to help us to follow the process of creation.
