Montreal Tower Observatory Admission & "Since 1976" Exhibit

Ascend to the summit of Montreal Tower for spectacular views of the entire Greater Montreal region and up to 50 miles of the St. Lawrence River valley. The breathtaking panorama from the observatory has been awarded a 3-star rating by the Michelin Guide. Located next to the Botanical Garden, the Tower is 30 minutes by public transport from downtown Montreal.

Make your way to the main entry and exchange your voucher at the ticket counter. After passing security, board the one-of-a-kind, glass-encased funicular for a breathtaking two-minute ride. This funicular is the only one in the world built along a curved structure. At the top, you'll be 541 feet (165 meters) above the Olympic Park. On clear days, you can see up to 80-kilometers in any direction. Marvel at the incredible architecture of the Stadium, the former Velodrome (now the Biodôme), and the Esplanade.

Included with your Observatory admission is the "Since 1976" exhibition. Located in the Montréal Tower, take a closer look at different aspects of the Olympic Park’s history. Discover a number of artifacts, photos, video archives, and interactive digital content. Learn about construction, the story of the Olympic Games, the professional sports and public and cultural events that have been held at the stadium.
