What people are saying about Montreal
My wife and I recently stayed in the old town district of Montreal and headed over a short distance to Dyad for what was a really great excursion on the scooters. Our guide simply nailed it from making the group feel comfortable and safe on the scooters while traversing through town, to providing lots of history and perspective that we were ultimately after. I won't spoil the surprises here, but you'll have a chance to see some amazing sights around town and enjoy a few special treats to taste along the way that you would otherwise certainly have missed. Did I mention how much fun the scooters are? We had a fairly diverse level of biking skill within our group, but we all seemed like pros by the end of the tour. Our guide spent a sufficient amount of time and attention in the beginning to ensure everyone was comfortable before heading off. Looking back on our week long trip through Quebec City and Montreal, this tour was definitely at the top.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about the 6 stops we made. All was totally delicious - along with the history of Montreal, Wow!!! We were worried because we also did Beyond the Bagel tour... No comparison. Like any large metropolitan city and the migration of immigrants... You cannot help but love and appreciate the diversity these neighborhoods bring to a city culturally, along with their cuisines.
Our driver and guide were exceptional. Our driver made me feel safe and I appreciated that he helped out a fellow large vehicle when the other fellow got caught heading towards a bridge couldn't fit under. Nice to see people helping people. Our guide was well informed, funny, and educational. It was a great start to our Montreal adventure!
Would have been nice to spend more time at the top of the mountain to be able to get off and take pictures of the city. However, we really enjoyed listening to the guides and finding out a lot of the history of Montreal.
This was our first intro to Montreal on our first night in French Canada. My 12 y/o son & I enjoyed it. The guide, dressed in costume, made it fun & spooky. We enjoyed it and would recommend.
