The ticket gives you access to all the important parts of the duomo. The views from above that let you further understand the amazing architecture of this wonderful architectural jewel is amazing. You can also access the Duomo museum which is also outstanding. Since this tour does ot include the guide, I would recommend that you get the audio guides(they do cost extra) and since you are there walk around the Galleria next door and the Museo del Novecento(not included but wodnerful) .... we visited on a Sunday so we were able to sit at the service(if you are Catholic this would matter :) )... and was definitely a plus!
Our guide was really good. The tour was very informative and our guide was friendly and funny. However, the tour we did was in both English and German and I felt like that was too much for the guide plus made the tour too long. It means that for half the time, you’re listening to information in a language you don’t understand. If I had the option, I would book this same tour but in a single language.
Great directions to entry with map, short line, great experience for sure!! Highly recommend buying the stairs tickets ahead! I bought them two hours before we arrived at the cathedral and walked right into the entry within two minutes of arriving at the plaza.
Enjoyed the tour. Our guide's English was better than many native Americans, and his knowledge of Milan history was great. He had an answer to everything. I wished we could have walked faster, but I understand the pace had to be slow for the older participants.
We enjoyed the attention to detail and also her ability to handle a large group of people being walked through the busy city. Even when guests had to leave the group, she was gracious and continued to offer insight to all who remained. Definitely worth it.
