What people are saying about Marrakesh-Safi

Magical, a trip you will always remember and cherish.

Looking at the name of the trip, you only expect to see the desert. But the roadtrip by itself is a beautifull experience. The trip takes you to the Atlas Mountains, to the ancient Ait Ben Haddou, with your local guide who will tell you a lot about the history of those places. Staying in the hotel in Tanghir with a pool is a welcome surprise to end the first day. Second day is all about getting to the desert we thought, so again it was a nice surprise that we first visited the green valley and mountains of Tanghir which looks like a fata morgana. After Tanghir you go to Merzouga to stay at the desert which is the best part of the trip. The desert is just beautifull and magical, watching the sun going down and up. Sleeping in the tent is okay. Warm, but the bed is really okay. Food is fine, the people are very polite. On our way back we had a big thunderstorm in the Atlas Mountains. Roads were blocked due to heavy rainfall and mudstreams. Our driver Obama Mohamed saved us big time.

An exciting glance into the Moroccan culture.

In the beginning there was a little misunderstanding about the pick-up point (it never turned who misunderstood whom after all, but this can be easily improved, as the participants need to submit their phone numbers when registering to the tour, so somebody should store these numbers and call the participant real-time, if there is a misunderstanding) but our guide, Mustapha handled very well the atmosphere, he made sure that all participants felt comortable when we hit the road. The camel ride was super exciting and entertaining with authentic clothing and all, the stop at the argan cooperative was OK, but the product demonstration was a bit long for me, the tour in the mountains was like a travel to a hidden, mystic part of the world. Mustapha was very enthusiastic, as he was from that Berber region, so the info he shared was clearly coming from the heart. The waterfall is beautiful. The Berber Tajine by the local house was the best Tajine we had in our whole Moroccan trip.

Amazing trip, beautiful location, kind driver and guide

Our one day trip to Ouzoud waterfall was an awesome experience, the whole family enjoyed it a lot. Our chauffeur Abdasslam, a fine young man was really friendly with us. He was a good company and driver throughout the journey, we learned a lot about Morocco from him. Our local guide was also a very nice person, and the view from the walking tour was spectacular. It is a must.

A brilliant tour, loved the sunset great tour guides A+++

Absolutely recommend this excursion we were picked up on time at the location advised with a small group, our driver was pleasant and informative and not pushy, the camel ride itself was a great experience with a brilliant sunset, I took so many great photos, dropped off close to our Riad at the right time, I would highly recommend this excursion

Nice experience, especially the dessert during sunset and sunrise.

The trip was nice. The distances are huge and sometimes it can be tough. The fact that in every place that we were going to eat we had a specific catalogue with menus of around 10 Euros is frustrating. Harassment is a big problem in this country and people should do something for this. The driver was really friendly, the guides the same.
