What people are saying about Malaga

Très belle excursion, avons beaucoup aimés

May 16, we had booked the excursion to Cordoba. When the tickets were sent to me, it was stated that the meeting point would be the Natali Hotel in Torremolinos because we live in a condo building in Benalmadena right next to the Triton Hotel. We went in morning by taxi to the hotel Natali to start our excursion. As the distance was quite important for the early hour of the morning, we took a taxi, the race cost us 10 Euros. The guide who accompanied us said that we could have been taken care of this morning in front of the hotel Triton because the bus started its journey to Estepona and ended in Malaga. I find it deplorable that you asked us to move and for other guests, they were taken care of in front of their hotel. I have another trip on May 23 for the Caminito Del Ray and this time I am asked to move to Torremolinos at the Plaza del Lido on the seaside promenade near the tourist office. Can you take care of me in Bemalmadena, near the police office. Thanks

Really good informative tour and helpful staff

First off, let me begin by saying that my train to Málaga was delayed so that I wouldn’t have been able to make it to my scheduled tour. I called (to reschedule) only to find out that “GetYourGuide” never sent my confirmation to “Málaga A Pie Tours”. Long story short, I sent them my confirmation email and they asked if I could come tomorrow and I accepted. “Málaga A Pie Tours” were really courteous, helpful and professional throughout the process. Starting from the girl that answered the phone, her manager and of course, Candida “Candi” was a great and knowledgeable guide. She really knows her stuff and was always very charismatic and engaged (even though she was feeling a bit under the weather). Málaga is an amazing city with so much rich history and architecture. We basically visited the main attractions in the center and ended the night with a popular vino malagueño. Overall, we enjoyed our tour!

A private tour at your own pace and time is the absolute way to go.

Our guide was outstanding and the best tour of the week. It started out with being picked-up by our guide and a driver right at the condo we rented. This is in comparison to the two hours we road around on a tour bus picking up other passengers when we went to Cordoba (and the two hours dropping everyone off). We had a lovely conversation on the way to Rhonda. We got to avoid the big tour groups and got to go into areas where they couldn't (such as the rooftop of a church with incredible views. We were able to have discussions with him about the little details. We got to go at our own pace and linger where we wanted. We learned not only the cold history facts, but about the culture as well. He was so friendly. He also made sure we had some free time. If you can afford it, go with a private tour. Well worth it.

Easy way of getting to Nerja and Frigiliana for the day.

They were both lovely towns to visit. We enjoyed being free to explore ourselves. I do think there should be details in the half-day your ad that you will be gone 10 hours, not 5! The tour was 5 but 5 hrs of bus riding. No one knew what time we would return. Our guide was multilingual and showed great enthusiasm for the Caves and we learned a lot. Would highly recommend you see the caves as that made the trip! I liked that we got to drive through Torreminos and Malaga a bit as well.

The most knowledgable and personable guide ever!

Alex was the best guide. When not giving tours, he is an archeologist. Born and raised in the Andulusia, we is very knowledgable and was able to give us insight that we would never get from a tour book or other guides. I know that not everyone who books this tour with get Alex but if you do, you will have the best tour ever!
