Full description
Malaga was founded by the Phoenicians around 770 B.C and is one of the oldest cities in the world. It has been inhabited by many civilizations like the Phoenicians, the Carthaginians, the Romans, the Visigoths and the Christians.

Your tour will start with a walk near the main attractions of the city, such as the main food market (Atarazanas), San Juan church or the church of the Sagrado Corazón (Sacred Heart).

Afterwards, delve into the core of Malaga in the most famous areas like Constitution Square or Larios Street. Walk slowly and head towards the stunning and unique Cathedral of Malaga. The 250 years that took its construction weren’t enough, and find out the Cathedral's secrets by visiting and discovering its wonderful interior.

Your next stop will be one of the most reputed restaurants in the city where you will take a variety of traditional tapas and local specialties, two drinks included. After lunch, resume your tour by visiting the oldest building in Malaga – a theater from the 1st century B.C. – a treasure that pays homage to the Roman legacy in Andalucia.

Finish with a visit to the Alcazaba, a Muslim fortress one thousand years old, and learn why the invasion of 711 A.C was so important for the history of the country and about the legacy Muslim citizens left in almost eight centuries of history.
