Full description
The ZSL London Zoo is a true oasis in the heart of the city. It has been entertaining and delighting groups since it opened to the public in 1847. With your skip-the-line ticket, head to Penguin Beach Live and get closer to the action than ever before. See the penguins feast on delicious little fish in England’s biggest penguin pool!

Enter London’s only living rainforest with lush vegetation and warm tropical mist. Go on a journey high into the treetops to meet a variety of amazing rainforest species, including marmosets, tamarins, sloths and a tamandua.

Then step out of the light and into the all-new Night Life area where you’ll discover the bats, rats and rarer nocturnal wonders like the Slender Loris, armadillos and Potto who make the dark their home.

With Gorilla Kingdom, the serenity of the African forest has arrived in the urban jungle. Take the gorilla tracking trail and wind your way around the African forest environment. You will get breathtakingly close to the colony of western lowland gorillas.

ZSL London Zoo has opened its biggest and most breath-taking experience yet: Land of the Lions.

Home to a pride of endangered Asiatic lions, the £5.7m Land of the Lions features an awe-inspiring "windowless-view" of the big cat’s enclosure. Enter the crumbling ruin of an amphitheatre-style Lion Temple and see the majestic big cats roaming just metres away, separated only by fine wires.

Getting there early is best to avoid a lot of the crowds and can see the animals better. Heard three of the talks. Tigers, hunting dogs and giraffes. All were good and informative. Ate in the resturant. Food was good only problem is the pigeons keep coming in. Not great. The staff did their best to get them out.

Our trip to the zoo was in January so trees. bushes were not in bloom so everything looked muddy and bleak. We saw the giraffes, zebras, lions and tigers. mind you concerned, the tiger was just pacing around in a small area over and over. Never saw the gorillas must of been hiding, I thought the zoo was ok however needed a spruce up. more information pictures dotted about . When going into the dark rooms to see the bats and other animals it would of been good to see pictures information over the walls instead of dingy corridors. Over all, think an up lift is needed the plants in the underground looked fake plastic. Staff didnt look to happy around and about.what a great job to have I'd be beaming.

Hardly any animals were out, Lora or sections blocked off but we still paid full price, absolutely not worth the £23 each we paid.
