Full description
Get back to nature and encounter the dramatic rock formations of Arizona on a 3-day trip into Monument Valley, the Antelope Canyon and the Valley of Fire. Take a jeep tour of Navajo Nation with a native guide, and get spectacular views from Horseshoe Bend. Avail of the chance to shop at the boutique stores and arts and craft shops of Sedona and more.

Day 1: Las Vegas – Sedona (Wednesday)
Start the day by traveling across the Mojave Desert and head up the Colorado Plateau. Journey along historic Route 66 as you make your way to Sedona. Then, take in the spectacular landscape of Oak Creek Canyon as it descends 2,000 feet (610 meters) to the valley floor. Stop to take photos of the red rocks and surroundings at the Oak Creek Canyon Overlook and Slide Rock State Park. Break for lunch in Sedona and browse the authentic Native American arts and crafts stores. Then, head into the surrounding desert to visit the Chapel of the Holy Cross and get panoramic views of Sedona's red rock formations, including Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte and Cathedral Rock. Depart Sedona in the late afternoon and drive to Flagstaff for your overnight stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites.

Day 2: Monument Valley – Horseshoe Bend (Thursday)
Head into Monument Valley to discover one of the Iconic symbols of the American West. Venture deep into the heart of the autonomous Navajo Nation, where the sandstone rocks tower from 400 to 1,000 feet (up to 300 meters) tall. Marvel at the near-vertical mesa buttes and see indigenous shrubs and trees. Take a jeep tour led by a member of the Navajo tribe, and go down into the valley to experience firsthand why they call this land “like no other place on earth.” Stop for an outdoor barbecue lunch (included), and then head to the mighty Colorado River. Visit Horseshoe Bend for a spectacular view, unique to the region. Continue to Lake Powell for your overnight stay at the Clarion Inn in Page.

Day 3: Antelope Canyon – Valley of Fire – Las Vegas (Friday)
Discover where “the water runs through the rocks” according to local Navajo folklore. Tour the upper Antelope Canyon and visit the spectacular dunes created by wind, water and sand. Start your journey back to Las Vegas, and get a lunch break along the way, before going to the Valley of Fire, named for the magnificent sandstone rock formations in a deep shade of red. Created by shifting sands and dunes during the age of the dinosaurs, the landscape in now more than 150 million years old. Arrive in the valley at the best time of day to see it on “fire” when the powerful rays of the sun reflect off the rocks (weather permitting). Depart the Valley of Fire State Park for an early evening arrival in Las Vegas and the end of the tour services.

Perfectly organized and fun!

We did this tour with Roberto and it was just amazing! First of all, every single stop was gorgeous or cool to see or to be there. Then, they stop at so many places that you don't really notice you are in the bus for so long. We also liked that there were on tours within the tour, like the Monument Valley where we had a real Navajo who drove us through. Roberto himself was very nice and a very good guide. We wouldn't change a single thing about this tour, except maybe that the tour guide should talk a little bit more about the history of the places. Roberto could answer all of our questions, so he knew everything!

Great stops and covered a lot of ground

A full-on tour that packs a lot into three days. Saw some amazing sights and everything was very well organised, hotels were great, third party tours were brilliant. Guide was very approachable and helpful. Only downside is that stops at many places were very brief, in some cases get off bus, restroom, take picture, back on the bus and especially when there was the opportunity to see an exhibit or souvenir shopping there simply wasn't enough time to do so without feeling very rushed and missing out on seeing some things you'll possibly never get to visit again. Just an extra 10 minutes for each would have made all the difference and wouldn't have mattered getting to the hotel a bit later.

Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley & Horseshoe Bend 3-Day Tour

This 3-Day Tour is surprisingly pleasant and offers some great tourist experiences in the southwest of the United States. Too bad we couldn't spend more time in Sedona, Az, because the views and hiking options are excellent. Might go there next time. The trip to Monument Valley was worth it. Valley of Fire was a pleasant stop on the way back to Las Vegas.
