What people are saying about Konavle Valley

Amazing places in Montenegro with a lovely tour guide and driver!

This tour was absolutelly amazing. The places we visited were great. Breathtaking. So much to do and see on one day and we even got the time to have lunch at the recommended restaurant and it was delicious! The tour guide was very nice, as was the driver. But be careful: We had to pay 52 per person, but some of the guest on the bus only paid 43 which doesn't seem fair at all.

Lovely tour guide, bus driver and beautiful views.

We saw 3 places which was awesome and bus was good also. Only bus was a little late at the morning but everything else was good. Its goob to bring cash because you can't use card in many places.

Excellent day out. Good value for money.

I really recommend this day out. Our guide was lovely and spoke Spanish and English fluently. We were picked up at the bus stop just outside our apartment. Although it was 30 mins late we did get an email on the morning letting us know. It is quite a long way on the coach but it was very comfortable and our guide informed us about the day and explained where we were and gave us some interesting history etc. We had plenty of time at each stop over. I would have liked to have gone up the hill in Kotor but only had flip flops which were hopeless! Trainers are required for this! We didn't have to wait long at the border either way. Top tip is to take some Euros as these are required in Montenegro! Cat museum as only one Euro but not really very interesting! Ice creams amazing! Trip over to "Our Lady of the rocks" also well worth doing.

Enough time to see the three interesting stops

Overall intersting tour, our guide Lidija was very nice. We took the tour in mid-May and waited an hour at the border to Montenegro. So expect even longer lines during high season. The time in three stops: Kotor, Budva and Perast (the Church of Our Lady on the Rocks on an island) was just enough to explore the places and take some great pictures. All the stops are very touristic, so expect some crowd. The only donwside is the time on the bus - but if you get the seat next to the window you can enjoy the breathtaking views since the road is going almost all the time along the coastline. Pack some sun screen, a camera, water and lunch and be ready to sit on a bus for some time. But the places are definitely worth seeing if you want a sneak peek of Montenegro and have only one day to spare.

Very honest and unintentionally funny guide

A long day, but much fun! We had a great trip to Montenegro in a big comfortable bus. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to use the toilet in the bus nor eat snacks - both would have been nice. However, the trip was interesting and it was fun to sail on a ferry with the bus. Also, go to see Sveti Stefan, even if the guide proposes not to do it.
