Wow, Great trip, everything in one day what more could you ask for

Minibus collected us and transferred us at the depot onto the actual tour bus. A large bus but nothing wrong with that. The tour guide was amazing, very knowledgable and funny with his knowledge. A viking guide who looked like what a Viking should look like lol. Everything about the trip was great even the stop at a shopping centre to see the tectonic plate divide (and great pastries) the weather was great for the time of year and we saw two amazing waterfalls along with numerous volcanos and GOT and Vikings set locations. the Geysers were amazing. We had plenty of time in every location and due to the punctual return of all guests we got more time at the UNESCO heritage site which is lovely. This was a great tour and i would recommend to anyone, couples, families and the older generation.

Great value and great locations for a day trip!

Great day exploring Kerid, Geysirs, Gullfoss Waterfalls and the tectonic plates! We had a wonderful sunny day so that made it extra special! We had enough time to see all the sites properly, however we’d recommend you take a picnic with you to avoid spending time in tourist centres! We had a packed lunch which allowed us to spend more time enjoying the scenery and taking pictures. Hannes, our guide, was very funny (hilarious dry Icelandic humor hah) and taught us a lot about iceland’s History and culture. Absolutely loved our day - and great value for money!

Excellent sites visited despite poor weather

Generally very good. We received a later email telling us to be ready even earlier than first told but connector bus did not turn until within first. We had to hang around for some to get on the tour bus. Despite the driver handling the coach well he was often driving with only one hand and exceeding the speed limit. This was booked as an 8 hour excursion but only really lasted less than 7 hours.

I enjoyed the day and found it informative.

It was a good day, but for photographers the time at the attractions is always frustratingly limited. It might be convenient for the bus driver, but at Pingvellar, it is not really that convenient for your guests to make them walk up hill rather down hill. I suspect that this is to save the parking fee, but it if service is your game - really...….

excellent a well run day, saw sights one would not usually see,

I can highly recommend this trip as a must for any type of stay in Iceland. Apart from seeing the waterfalls and the geysers which are awe inspiring, the bus trip is a learning curve on geology, the history of their Nordic ancestors, the mythology surrounding the goblins and elves......so so entertaining.
