We were so happy to find this little tour since we had already visited Venice and done the regular touristy stuff. Being 'foodies' we were really looking forward to this. Our guide, Abigail, was fabulous. Since we were the only 2 in this tour, we had her full attention. She answered every question we had, even though not food related. Stops at family bakeries and coffee shops were very interesting and mostly delicious. Of course, everyone loves different tastes. The only reason we did not give this tour 5 stars is because not all family baked goods are tasty. The good part of this tour was that it was early enough so it wasn't too hot and it was away from the crowds.

Brilliant experience mixing food and history!

My wife and I did this tour with Alessandra our guide and a few others. Tour was well organised and ran smoothly. We did not expect as much food as we received and were very full by the end it, so you definitely get your money’s worth according to us. Alessandra was extremely knowledgeable of the Ghetto and Venice in general and was very accommodating of all my questions! Would highly recommend.

Amazing tour with a very friendly and knowledgeable guide

We went on the tour with 4 little kids and we thought that we might need to leave a bit earlier because the kids might not make it though all 4 hours but the tour was so awesome that the kids didn’t want to leave. The restaurant choices for this tour are really great and the tour guide was super friendly and patient. I would definitely recommend this tour to others.

My experience was most good. I had difficultly locating the local partners to collect the tickets. I ended up been sent to 3 addresses with me bn able to pick up the tickets at the 3rd address. But overall my experience was good. I was able to skip the line at the dodge palace. I look forward to exploring venice more over the next 6 months

Claire was fantastic! She had lots of local and historical knowledge. She shared some excellent information whilst taking us through some streets off the main track. The food was spectacular! And we got an information pack afterwards to help us with the rest of our trip. Highly recommend!
