What people are saying about Jerez de la Frontera

Great impression with the training and possibility to see the stables

Although we had the online tickets we had to stand in the queue at the ticket counter again for paper tickets. It was very nice to see the training but we were not allowed to take pictures inside the arena. There were tours in different languages through the stables, where one can not go in alone. The museum was also very nice and a little bit further away is the carriage museum. All in all a lot you can see for your money and we spent almost 4 hours there. Definitely worth a visit if you like horses!

From foal to dressage - a truly magical morning

The image of the horses galloping into the arena en masse still stirs up amazing feelings within me. The whole event was magical. All the way from learning the history of the horses and stud farm through to seeing the dressage demonstration. I came to know and love these magnificent animals and their team of carers and trainers in one fell swoop. I recommend the visit to everyone who has even the slightest liking for horses

The best way to visit any town is to take a guided walk

We had been with our guide Inma earlier in the day as as we were thee only people on the walk she changed the the time to fit in with our needs and took us on an interesting walk around the city. She showed us many palaces and local architecture and explained it all in detail. Also showed us a very good cake shop which we walked back to at the end of the tour.

This was a great activity that was easy to book on line.

This was a very well organized tour of the horse farm plus an interesting and varied show. I was especially interested in how they care for the horses and the breeding program. I loved seeing this year's babies, as well as the yearlings and mares. The show included riding and driving skills, and the mares and foals, so it showed many facets of the farm.

Sherry for breakfast and then stunning display of horsemanship

Petra was the funniest tourguide but she backed it up with incredible local and background knowledge. Be warned though the photography police at the Andalusian Horse Show use their mobiles from the other side of the gallery to alert their counterparts on your side that you might be sneaking a cheeky snap
