Full description
Bursa was at one time the capital of the Ottoman Empire, one of the largest empires in the history of the world. Enjoy a full-day excursion from Istanbul to explore this city situated on the north-western slopes of Mount Uludag, including 45 minutes in Bursa City for your personal needs.  The city is known as Yesil or Green Bursa owing to its many lovely gardens and parks. The 4th-largest city in Turkey, it is also known for its peaches, chestnuts, and its silk industry. Next, visit the Grand and Green mosques, the Green Mausoleum, and the old silk market in the covered bazaar. The mausoleums of early Ottoman sultans are located in Bursa and the numerous edifices built throughout the Ottoman period constitute the city's main landmarks. The surrounding fertile plain, its thermal baths, several interesting museums, and orderly urban growth add to Bursa’s appeal.

This is a very nice tour to take with one only exception, it is very oriented towards the commercial part. It seems that the main objective is to get customers to visit spaces with only one purpose: to get them to buy something. If they want to keep like this, i would suggest that you stop only one time in a big mall or store for shopping and do the rest for visiting places.

Very long day... Morning ferry ride is good.... Took way too long to get to the mountain... Wasted time at Turkish delight shop. Only had 1 hour on the mountain before it was dark. Arrived back at hotel at 10pm.
