Mr. Handsome was humorous and entertaining. Overall a good experience. Long days, early mornings. Fun experiences. On the bike ride a portion of the group got separated from the guide. Felt there should have been better observation/monitoring of the large group. One of the separated riders crashed and fell into the river. Also, more detail of day three. Our visit to the Cham village was too short due to the fast boat picking us up very early. Also more detail about the fast boat ride length and stops for border control. When we signed up I don’t remember an option for a home stay or choosing a different hotel. The air conditioning didn’t work in our 2 star hotel and we had difficulty communicating with the front desk. Also it would have been nice for the whole group to stay in the same facility. We would take the tour again with more knowledge of what to expect.
Thanks a lot to Steven, our tour giude for a fantastic private streetfood walking tour. We had a great tour though different parts of Ho Chi Minh City. In various streetfood restaurants and corners, we could try delicious vietnamese food. Steven showed us how to prepare the dishes and explained a lot about food, ingrediences and vietnamese lifestyle, culture and a lot more. After a very tasty and entertaining evening we want to thank Steven for the wonderful time and the good start for our trip in this country. We can kennly recommend Steven and the Tour. Alex & Stephan
I heard district 3 is quite famous for eateries but it was impossible for short-time travelers like me to discover its charms because it's too local!!! I took a tour with Gina who served us very well. Within 4 hours I felt like I became more aware of variety of Vietnamese food and their life. But mind you, you should control the amount of food you have at each stops otherwise it would make you too full.
Linh Chi aka Chili and Tanya were friendly, knowledgeable and good fun. They showed us places we wouldn't have visited and foods we would never have tried. They looked after us, gave us waterproofs when it rained and delivered us full happy and overfed. Thoroughly recommended.
We had a great guide. Lot of time on the big bus though. accommodation was great for the money. . Not that much time was spent on the Mekong. Food was great. The boat handled our Cambodia visas .. stress free. Just take $34 usd and a photo.
