What people are saying about Heidelberg
It was a wonderful day. Our guide moved seemlessly between languages. She was considerate and knowledgeable. The driver was steady and professional. The scenery speaks for itself. I'd go again.
Glad I went in the winter. Chilly temperatures but at least no rain. We had a small group of only 6 people. It was very easy to hear the guide and be able to ask questions.
Our worldwide team met in Heidelberg for a bi-annual meeting and we wanted to spend a little time getting to know the city. We booked the tour for after dinner (9pm) which allowed us to walk off some of the amazing German food we consumed. We hit several historic sites and learned a great deal of history while capturing some spectacular photos of the castle and bridge at night. Everyone enjoyed the tour and the time together as a group. I would recommend this tour for any small to medium group (we had 10 people) as it worked well to be able to hear the guide at all times. Overall, our guide was knowledgable and we would recommend this for any visitor to the city.
The Heidelberg castle is a magical place, full of so much history, but we'd never had the full experience of knowledge and understanding of its history had it not been for Olga, our guide. She provided a great tour, in English, with great historical insights. I highly recommend this tour and Olga as your guide.
Guide was knowledgebale, sights were interesting and pertinent, a great experience that I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a cliff notes version of the history of Heidelberg. Great Job!!
