We arrived at our appointed time to tour Nasrid Palace but there was no signage, no guidance about getting in. One had to figure out on one’s own about finding the correct que, and would there be a guide? etc. Especially since the booking was so explicit about being there at the exact time. You need to do your part to help your paying visitors. PLUS, at the beginning of our visit your agent told us to come back to 5e entry point for the Nasrid Palace tour, so when we came back we were told No, you should be back at the Nasrid Palace to join the tour. We had to run all the way back! Your lack of information/ disinformation nearly kept us from making the tour, which was a huge reason we booked the tour! This was very disappointing to say 5he least! Plus, your ticket “police” were unfriendly and rude when we couldn’t provide the documentation they were seeking. Language barrier should not be an excuse for this behavior. We left with an unpleasant memory that colored our entire visit negat

We found our guide and the meeting point easily and it was not directly at the main entry with the crowds so it was a very relaxed experience to try and locate the meeting point before the tour commenced. Miguel took us through with no hiccups and no wait time and spoke very passionately about the history of the gardens. He ran through the history of the gardens including the history behind the cultural influences of the construction over the years as well as history of the royal family and how they influenced Spain as a country. He pointed out several little interesting facts or visual cues in parts of the gardens we would not have known if we had wandered in on our own. He spoke clearly, well paced for the group and informatively about the history of the gardens. All in all, a great tour and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

The Alhambra is a truly spectacular place. It should be on anyone’s radar. The booking process was simple, the place to pick up your tickets is close to the entrance to the grounds and the staff were very helpful in explaining the audio guides. The only thing I forgot at the end of a hot day was to take the yellow slip of paper back for sign off. Don’t lose it! And if you are from another country take your passport with you. They do spot checks on tourists at the various gates within the complex. Be awed.

Our tour was planned ro start at 9.00. By email 2 days before we were informed that it would be 10.00. The evening before the tour we got another mail that said: start at 9.00. By we could not get clarity. Our hotel was at 20 km distance. To be in time for 9.00 we had to leave the hotel before breakfast time. Arriving at the startingpoint we had to wait more than one hour, because the start of the tour was still at 10.00. The Alhambra is fantastic, the tour was perfect and the guide was excellent.

This was perfect for my trip with my parents. You get inside the walls and can walk through the Alcazaba which gives some great views overlooking the entire city. You have access to the gardens which are very nice to walk through. No Nasrid Palace, which honestly we were ok with. Still spent 3 hours walking around, and honestly, we were happy not to walk through the entire palace. A good option.
