What people are saying about Galway
We decided to take a tour rather than drive ourselves that day and it was the best decision!! Our driver and guide, Alan, was phenomenal! He not only was a safe and considerate bus driver, but he delighted us with his history of Ireland; the attractions he pointed out along the way; his direction on what to expect and what to do regarding getting onto the ferry to the Aran Islands, and being back on time; his assistance in coordinating the various tour methods on the island; his directions on where to go for food and the best sites, etc.; his jokes that were actually very funny; and overall, his warm and approachable personality! I don't feel that the experience would have been as positive or as informative had we driven ourselves. I hope that anyone that books with this tour has the good fortune of travelling with Alan! :)
John was straight up an approachable and fun character, he had a wealth of information and plenty of cracker jokes to entertain us. He always checked on us to ensure everyone was okay and anyone who wasn't he helped, especially on the ferry! Could not have asked for a better guide/driver. His skills on that road were fantastic and I felt safe! He also gave heaps of tips of what to do in Galway. Aran Islands a little disappointing with the tractor trailer guy, he left us for 40 mins at the shipwreck and his dog bit me, John apologised for this but was not his fault at all! Would definitely recommend to everyone to do!
It was a rainy day but the views were still stunning! Our tour guide, Tommy, was phenomenal! He was kind, patient, informative and fun! He made the day more enjoyable! I would do this tour again! We stopped at a look out area on our way back from the Cliffs of Moher and we were mesmerized by it. He also played Irish music on the bus which we all really enjoyed! Just a great experience over all! Highly recommended!
Tour was well organised and the guide has given us interesting information on Dublin, Ireland and its culture plus lots of recommendation for places to eat, drink and listen to Irish music. The places we have seen are truly amazing and you can really get a glance on how beautiful Ireland is. Although there is a lot of driving I recommend it.
Daniel - our tour guide was fantastic. His illustration, behind stories, local’s know how and suggestions were all amazing. Tour program was on time and he entertained us throughout the day. Highly recommend.
