Great guide and astonishing views!

Too crowded

After an hour or so we headed to Paúl da Siërra to start the walk. First you have to descend 150 meter through a steep path, then you walk to the risco fall. It was amazing. After a quick stop you walk back and then down to the 25 fontes. You have to be a walker to catch this levada. You have to climb and descend a lot of stairs, walk next to steep cliffs and on narrow paths. The 25 fontes are okay, but not that special and crowded. Too crowded. This route is very popular apparently. It was a day trip, not a half day trip! You walk for 4,5 hours and drive for 2 hours. You have three 20 min breaks (1 before start, 1 for lunch at the 25 fontes and 1 on the way back).
