Florida is one of the southernmost American states, so it will be warm throughout the year. If you are not a fan of hot and humid weather, it is best to avoid the peak summer months.
Generally, most attractions open around 9:00AM, but there will definitely be lines at the most popular ones. It may be worth your while to have an early start when going to Walt Disney World, for example.
The most important thing is to keep yourself protected from the blazing sun - that means reapplying sunscreen, staying in the shade around midday, and drinking plenty of water to prevent dehydration.

What people are saying about Florida
Captain did a good job getting up as close as he could to birds. He was very interesting with lots of great stories. But he was real proud of his captains license talking about it quite a bit and talking smack about his other captain who worked with him and I didn’t think that was very nice. He also wanted to stop at a island to check on his turtle nests which took away time from what I had paid for. He saw another boat ran aground on oyster shells and said he was obligated to check on them. It seemed he just wanted to see how big a idiot they were. It was nice he made sure they were not in distress, but again I didn’t pay for that as part of my tour. He was a great captain because storms brewed up and it took some fancy boat work to get us back safely which he did. Overall it was a great tour, but the things I mentioned just rubbed me the wrong way a little. I would go again. Oh!! Also, the tour ticket said it included a bottle of water and lunch. I didn’t get neither.
The ‘Space Pass’ ticket was not well understood by Staff on arrival. The lunch with astronaut was great but there were no signs leading to the venue. Numerous people concurred that it was pure luck they found the location. The shows were excellent & the bus tour too. Far too many of the interactive stations in the Atlantis Centre were not working. Overall great but plenty of attention to detail missing. For the price you pay I’d expect more
We booked this and were there early. But the bus had already left - we saw it leave 7-8 minutes early as we were approaching the pick up point! We contacted the company and got rebooked for the next day. We caught this bus and it was a great day. The show was entertaining and the boat ride both fun and great for seeing the wildlife in the Everglades. Saw a few gators up close which was awesome!
We had an amazing trip, dolphins swimming alongside the boat, beautiful beaches and a couple of great stop offs collecting shells and hearing about the area from the captain, what an absolutely lovely guy, I would highly recommend this trip, if you are looking to see dolphins, birds and amazing views, and are keen to know more about the area, definitely book this trip.
My guide Lance was awesome! He took me out even though no one elde made it. We saw a ton of great art and he knew the history of the area, the art, and the artists. I will take this tour again on my next trip out.
