What people are saying about Edinburgh

Fascinating, well thought out and a real ‘must see’

Apart from a little hitch finding the entrance, escalator not working and no extra signage, the whole experience was excellent. The routing of visitors works really well and the access to the various sections within the ship works well giving, it a very inclusive feel. The various photos and artefacts add immensely to the overall impression of a family home, how sad the Queen and her family were denied the use of it in her later years.

Was very good value for money and a great trip.

Really enjoyed our trip. As well as seeing the three great bridges from a different perspective we got to see Puffins and Seals as an extra treat. Had the option, for an extra fee, to disembark halfway to go on the island and afterwards regretted not doing that but was a great experience anyways. Would recommend this trip with interesting commentary all the way.

Really interesting, and staff are very helpful and polite

Marred by a very loud American girl who felt it was OK to bawl out someone who had moved in front of her in the line. It should be made clear at the beginning that you do not have to move round with the line of people you entered with, and that everyone is entitled to move ahead should they so wish. Would check the less busy times for a more relaxed walk round

An awesome insight into a small part of Royal Life

A brilliant and informative tour, giving an insight into a small part of Royal LIfe. The yacht is very well maintained with knowledgable staff. The on board tea rooms were a welcoming end to a great attraction, having a good selection of sandwiches and soups. The waiting staff were all more than helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Definitely worth the effort it took to get there! Don’t miss it!

I was excited about this the tour and it did not disappoint. It was informative and I liked that we could take as much time as we wanted with the audio tour. As others have noted, you enter a shopping mall to reach the ticket office. We ordered our tickets in advance and it probably saved us 30 minutes standing in line.
