What people are saying about Edinburgh

Very fun, great stories and there’s whisky....

This was a thoroughly enjoyable experience with a very good story teller, and the whole idea is very innovative in itself (although whisky and story telling have gone hand in hand throughout time), but being able to quickly and easily access that medium was a lovely novelty. however there are one or two things to note for this tour; if you’re going to book on, please be aware that you are there to LISTEN not to chat amongst yourselves as it’s very rude but also frustrating for your fellow tour goers who are battling to hear the guide. Secondly, as a veeery gentle suggestion, perhaps a warm up drink (be it whisky or a drink of your choice at the bar), would be a good idea upon arrival because it felt like a long wait for that first sip after a long day of sight seeing, walking and touring . Otherwise, an absolutely brilliant and enjoyable way to spend two very mellow hours in beautiful Edinburgh

Great stories, fine whisky's, uncomfortable seeting. Still recommended

Our host John was waiting at the designated area long before announced time. He proved to be a great host, with really good storytelling skills, he is witty and humorous and has a clear knowledge of Scotch too. The venue was nice in itself, although the tiny/low benches with fixed low tables were not comfortable for anyone with long legs. I really loved the stories of ancient Edi and I had a great time listening to John telling them.

Definitely a must do, even for brave non whisky lovers.

This was in the top 3 of the most enjoyable things we did in our short three day stay. Steph was awesome in her approach and a fantastic storyteller in every sense of the word! Thank you Steph! I do not usually drink Whiskey but gave it a go and regardless of the whisky it was fun and informative on both the history of Whisky aspect and Scotland too. Thanks again

Interesting, informative & knowledgeable guide. (Jenny)

A slow start but once we got to our first venue Jenny seemed to relax. A small group of just the 8 of us meant we could discuss info & ask questions. Very interesting & informative. Nice venues & knowledgeable guide. (Jenny) Would recommend even to non beer drinkers like myself....

Great eve for any 'level' of whisky drinker

A perfect blend of whisky tasting and story telling, that's honestly great for any who want to try; from the experienced palate as aged as some of those whiskies, to first time novices! Thoroughly enjoyed and the walking is only as far as the 10 mins to the pub :)
