Good Food Tour with History Included

We had a very nice food walking tour of Edinburgh. The trip to the roof of the museum was nice and allowed a great view. The different stops were quite good, and we got plenty to eat. It contains some classic dishes of Scotland, but that is great for those of us that have never had these foods. A lovely day!!

Fun and unique way to experience Edinburgh

Fantastic experience! Our guide, David, was knowledgable, friendly, entertaining, and treated us to some fantastic Scottish food and drink. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in learning about Edinburgh history, Scottish food culture, and tasting some of the unique and authentic regional foods and drink. David treated us to the best and most fun tour we did while in Edinburgh.

Perfect introduction to local Edinburgh

Arrived at 8am from Amsterdam, checked in to our hotel, then met our young, local Scottish guide , David, at noon. Our tour was a lovely mix of history, local bites, and beginners whiskey tastes. He also gave us tips on authentic Scottish goods, his top 3 favourite restaurants (Good portion sizes and price) and off the beaten path Edinburgh walks we could take on our own. He's a gem! I totally recommend this be the first thing you do before all else. P.S. haggis is not scary, it's actually quite yummy ;-)
