What people are saying about Edinburgh
Booked our tickets the night before and brought our print out to the ticket office. The ticket office is 1 minute walk from the exit of the airport. Turn left as you exit the airport. It about 25 minutes journey to the city. All the stops are announced so you know exactly when to get off. We used this service to get to and from the airport and would definitely recommend it.
Having not used this service before i was a little apprehensive but the bus stand was literally outside of the airport terminal. We missed the first bus by seconds but as it drove away a second bus arrived and parked. We only waited about five minutes and we then travelled for just over half an hour directly into Edinburgh City and no more than 100 yards from our hotel.
Great price to get transportation to and from the airport to the city! 24-hour schedule with multiple stops in the city to make any flight schedule. If doing the hop on/hop off bus tour, be sure to use the transportation desk at the airport to bundle your purchase. Great staff, friendly and professional.
Frequent, reliable, comfortable, flight departure details displayed on-board the bus. Would recommend to friends. However the need to print tickets was a nuisance and a waste of paper, full A4 sheet per passenger, map details given twice. But a great service itself.
I've visited Edinburgh four times from the U.S., and each time I've used Airlink buses. The service has been consistent and dependable. And it's easy to purchase tickets ahead of time on their website.
