What people are saying about Dover
Our tour guide Lucy was excellent, super friendly, helpful and well-organised. The driver was also very friendly and funny. The trip was very enjoyable, the places were very beautiful and Lucy gave good tips about what to visit in Canterbury. On the other hand, it would be better if we had a little more time to see Canterbury, and we knew the price of the cathedral and the castle in Dover beforehand, since it was not included in the trip price. It would also be nice to know beforehand that there is no shade on the cliffs, so that we have some protection under the sun.
Trip was great, I really enjoyed the guides and their friendly personalities. Finding the bus in the morning was easy and the trip to Dover was seamless as our driver called out some great London views. Our loca guide, Lucy was friendly and knowledgeable. Cliffs of Dover and Dover Castle were great. Not enough time for the WWII tunnel tour but plenty of time fore everything else. Wish there was another hour in Canterbury to explore outside the Cathedral but it was nice being back around 6 in London. I would highly recommend!
We made the decision to check out Dover and Canterbury only a couple of days before our trip and we’re glad we did. The region is beautiful and the White Cliffs and port at Dover is quite fascinating! Canterbury was also well worth spending time in with beautiful gardens and plenty of history to absorb. Our guide Alicia did a great job. She knew plenty about both areas and made sure we were in the right place at the right time to get the most out of our day. Highly recommended!
First of all, the guide would introduce the spot along the street. And We stay about 2 hours in the White Cliffs of Dover (or you can visit 30 mins in White Cliffs and going to visit Dover Castle). The wind is whipping and a little cold there. It is a beautiful day with breathtaking view that I would like to spend the whole day. After that, we go to the Canterbury, and you must to see the Canterbury Cathedral. It is magnificent and awe-inspiring.
Our guide, Morton, was very informative and also very attentive and clear in his instructions. I enjoyed all the sights, especially Leeds Castle, which was a surprise. My main purpose was to see Canterbury. I would have liked a bit more time in Greenwich.
