What people are saying about Corfu
Everyone was really friendly, helpful and nice. The restaurant where we had the coffee break and lunch was spotless-- the food abundant, fresh and delicious. Our young guide just didn't seem to know a much as the other guides we read about in the reviews, nor compared what we saw in action at Butrint. I really like archealogical sites; my family less so. Butrint is more for people into old stones, especially if the guide can't help to bring the site to "life". Be aware that that you will NOT see the mosaic at the baptismal (big disappointment). It is covered with sand for protection. None of our party needed a wheelchair, but I really don't see how a wheelchair could be accommodated for this trip. We brought our bathing suits and took a stroll along the boardwalk and a dip at the Saranda beach during the hour of free time. Bring cash to purchase gifts. The vendors will tell you "it" costs €5 no matter what "it" is. Negotiate the prices. In short: a good day trip and value for money.
Everything was perfect! Very good organized trip with a nice and helpful staff, thank you so much! Despite all the people aboard, you feel very well and it feels more like a smaller boat. There is a nice bar on the top floor with drinks and snacks. We also had a party on the way back and it was really fun and such a nice atmosphere. Lakka is a small fishing village and its very cosy - you have enough time to walk around and have something to eat or go to the beach. The caves are really fascinating. Paradise beach in Antipaxos was definitely the highlight, really beautiful! We spend more than an hour swimming there, its a dream. Highly recommended
George picked us up at Paleokastritsa, on our way to the mills was talking about history of the island and history of olive trees and olive oil here. The tour itself and the tasting were very informative, we learned a lot and will now definitely use this knowledge in our life. Olive oil itself extremely tasty. It was a great pleasure to learn about olives and olive oil from people who are so passionate about what they are doing. And for sure George is a star!
Wonderful day from start to finish. Friendly ship's crew, they even have a barbecue for goodness sake, but the beautiful cove they stop at for us to swim is just something else. The wind got up a bit on the way back, so sea was a bit choppier. We could have gone inside but getting soaked by the spray sort of added to it in some way. We soon dried off as we got nearer to Corfu and the sea smoothed out a bit.
It was great day out with family. We got to see the lovely blue lagoon of Corfu and many other places. The crew was amazing, they were all helpful and very kind. I definitely recommend this for the people who like adventuring the seas as you get to see a lot of lovely fishes and get to do snorkelling. Overall an amazing experience of the lovely seas of Corfu!!
