What people are saying about Colosseum

Well organised, plenty of detail but very long

It was a great experience, having a guide is always the best option when you want things to go as smoothly as possible and get all the information you would struggle to get if you went by yourself. Our guide was jolly and answered our questions as best he could. The only issues I had were that we didn't have time to visit the gift shops and it went on for longer than initially told so I would advise bringing lots of water, some lunch, and a sunhat if it's a hot season. Best be prepared! Other than this it was an interesting guide!

Great tour with an archaeologist under the colosseum

Great tour with an archaeologist under the colosseum and around the colosseum. If you book underground only colosseum archaeologists can show take you there (what we got told on the day which was a nice touch) with audio so we could hear everything he said. Was in a small group and well worth the money, no hassle no waiting in line. Arena access great pictures can be taken here and underground. We also got access after to meet a guide after colosseum to take show us to Forum and Palatine hill which was a nice bonus.

Guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.

For “Skip the Line Tickets”, we spent more time outside the Colosseum in line ups waiting to get in than we spent inside. We had to be at our designated meeting place at 09:25 for 09:40 entry into Colosseum. We did not get inside until 10:45, long enough to take a few pictures and leave as we had to meet our driver at 11:15 in order to get to the Vatican at our designated time.

Would definitely recommend to avoid crowds

We loved this tour! It was in 2 parts, the first part shows you things outside the Colosseum, like the Roman Forum, and the second part was the Colosseum. Both guides were great and really informative. The only thing I didn’t think through was that the pictures I took weren't great since it was dark out. However, I would do it again to avoid the normal crowds during the day.

Very nice and competent guide but he always seemed to be in a hurry.

The tour was awsome and we learned some exciting things about ancient times but like everywhere in Rome you feel like being pushed through the sites like a cattle herd. There was hardly any time to just enjoy sights and take pictures in a relaxed way.
