See the sights of Paris from a different angle on a 2.5-hour Segway tour, and learn the history of the city as you glide down sidewalks and bike…
What people are saying about Champs-Élysées
My husband and I have done segway tours in several different cities around the world, and we always enjoy them because we love going on segways. You get to see so much more and cover a greater distance in a short period of time. Our guide Sylvain was very pleasant and friendly, however he didn't seem as knowledgeable about the things and places we were seeing on the tour as guides we've had on previous tours. His english was good but it wasn't always easy to hear him due to the noise around us and he also spoke quite fast, which made it difficult to understand him at times. Paris is very big and spread out so there are a lot of roads to cross which can take time in this busy city, so we felt we didn't see as much as we have done on previous tours, but this is not the fault of the tour guide, just a characteristic of Paris. We did manage to have a very well timed stop for a drink indoors, missing a very brief but heavy downpour, so managed to stay dry.
It was awesome. This tour includes a half hour instruction practice with the Segway which is great because it was first time for us all. Also the guide (Daniel) was very careful for us not to get hurt the entire trip. It includes the best attractions in Paris plus very many recommendations on what to do. The Guide is very calm and responsible. The stories about attractions which we visit are also well documented. Strongly recommended. Especially for the ones who don't want to walk a lot to visit the center of Paris :)
This was a great way to see some of the highlights without having to walk so much. The tour is well planned and safe. The tour guide is very good. Our family, despite some initial apprehension, liked this very much! The tour is designed to minimise conflict with many pedestrians so you don't have to be fearful that you will have to contest and test your skills in among many pedestrians. You get some training before you set off and everyone coped just fine. Fun for the teens and fun for the adults.
We had a great time on our tour, our guide was excellent and obviously loves Paris and its history. We went on our first morning in Paris and found what we learned to be quite useful throughout our visit. We felt very safe moving through and around traffic too. 2.5 hours can be a long time on a Segway so we appreciated the occasional stops to get off and move our feet. Lots of photo opportunities provided as well.
I did this tour with my boyfriend having previously done a segway trip on a beach holiday. We really enjoyed it. Kirsty and Sylvan were really knowledgeable and funny and made the trip. Available in both English and French it was a great part of our city break, and I'd highly recommend. Wear comfy shoes and bring water.
