The Lake is the scenic location of so many landmarks that no visitor should miss rowing its waters past the Bethesda Fountain, Wagner Cove, and beneath the Bow Bridge.
As well as the main Central Park Zoo and Children's Zoo, there's the Hallett Nature Sanctuary. You can't visit the latter alone, but check online for guided tour schedules!

If you're visiting New York over the colder months, there's no need to avoid the outdoor park. Its ice skating rink has become of the city's most iconic winter attractions!
Confused? You have every right to be! Located across from where John Lennon was murdered, the Strawberry Fields Memorial is now a designated quiet zone.

What people are saying about Central Park
We found the pass to be worth it when we added up the costs of what we did and what it would have cost to do them by paying separately. The pdf information the pass provided on the 100 included attractions was most helpful and maybe we could have gotten that from other sources but it worked out well for us to plan our itinerary from the list of things the pass would pay for. Not all of our activities that we did in NY were covered, but that still was OK. You need to calculate how much you think you're going to do on your trip to determine if it's good for you. We did not feel like we were running all over to do things to make it worth it, but we were busy most days all day long.
Was my first visit to NY! I’m 60 & had wanted to go to Central Park since I was a kid, had a great time walking through the park! The carriage ride was the best carriage ride I’d ever taken anywhere! I hope if DeBlasio still plans to take the carriage rides away that he rethinks it! One day I’ll return to NY & look forward to another carriage ride! Nice that citizens like Liam Neeson have some backbone to voice their opinion & support the people who provide the carriage rides, our guide was very good & made our ride the best part of my vacation!
The Guggenheim is a marvelous place and we saw some great art and enjoyed some first-rate people watching too. But there's no reason to buy tickets in advance. You can't "skip the line." You get in the normal admission line, show the codes on your phone, and they print you a regular paper ticket. Fortunately the line was short, but it's hardly a timesaver to buy the tickets in advance. Annoying.
Loved the museum. The soul improvement would be the actual ticketing. The line was full, yet, there were workers assigned to help season ticket holders who were not helping with the “regular line.” At my home museum the season tickets holders have priority in the queue. There is also no benefit on buying a ticket in advance as I had to be in the same line as everyone who did not have tickets.
Vitali had us in awe of his knowledge of the park. He also was fun from the minute we met right up to taking the time to drop us off at Century21 for some shopping. Vitali ensured we had plenty of photo moments and even took some for us. I cannot speak highly enough of Vitali's service. Thankful to have met him.
