What people are saying about Catalonia

Beautiful cruise, but some info would have been nice

It was wonderful cruising out of the Barcelona harbour into the ocean. Being able to order a glass of Prosecco made it seem even more decadent. I was grateful we did not have to listen to a tour guide the entire time. However, having read "discover the most important sites of the city from a unique perspective" in the description, I had thought someone would be pointing those sites out to us. We booked the cruise our first night in Barcelona, hoping for some general information on city sites, which we could use in the following days. There was not one word spoken to us from the crew, which made for an extremely relaxing cruise, which we thoroughly enjoyed. But people should be aware that it is definitely a cruise only, not a sight-seeing tour. :-)

Barcelona: 1.5-Hour Sunset Wooden Boat Tour Reviewed by Anonymous, 17/08/2019

It was a transcendental experience, regardless of religion.

The Fast Track provided a quick entrance and the audio guide was succinct and informative. The crowds were manageable and there was space to stand back and take in the experience at a leisurely pace, as well as take pictures/videos. The art and architecture were inspiring. The amount of collaboration, from different fields, eras and technological advances, to see to fruition the vision laid out by one man is astounding. We’re planning to go back after the scheduled completion in 2026.

Worth a visit, well set up, but can be crowded

Definitely book in advance and skip the queue. Once in there is series of fish tanks with a great array of different fish. It was crowded when we visited making it difficult to see and you need to jostle a bit. The main tank is great with a clever conveyor belt to stand on so everyone gets a fair turn viewing. Need just about one to one and half hours. Skip the cafeteria nothing special there. Gift shop is just throw away toys (shame).

Too often you don't get what you paid for.

Casa Battlo wasn't the only ticket we booked. It happens too often that after having booked and paid for a ticket one gets a message the trip is not available on the date that was booked, it is cancelled completely or the time that the voucher shows is not what you booked. Also we had a lot of trouble showing the voucher on the phone since downloading wouldn't work at the destination chosen. I doubt if I would book with you again.

The building is beautiful but too crowded

In general, I liked Caso Batlló. Gaudi's genius knowledge and creativity gave marvelous results that bewilder visitors from all around the world. It's absolutely astonishing - the play of light and shadow, the glasswork, and the texture of the materials used. The audio guide was really useful and helped to understand the creation. The only irritating factor was the number of tourists:)
