Casa Museu Amatller 56 Reviews

The Amatller House Museum, key work of the architect Puig i Cadafalch, is one of the most exceptional buildings of modernist Catalan architecture in Barcelona and one of the most comprehensive house museums of Catalan Modernism. Designed in 1898 by the industrialist chocolatier Antoni Amatller, it is located in the well-known manzana de la discordia (block of discord), along with the Casa Batlló by Antoni Gaudí and the Casa Lleo i Morera by Domènech i Montanter. The Amatller House Museum is an authentic hidden treasure in the heart of the city which conserves all of its splendour and the essence of the beginning of the century thanks to the existence of all of its original furniture and decoration, the fruit of extensive and careful restoration.
