Full description
As soon as you step foot on a super-fast, luxury 20m CAT, you’ll feel welcomed and pampered. With your early boarding from Marlin Marina (with prior check in at 7:15am from Reef Fleet Terminal, Cairns Marina), you’ll get to breathe in the morning ocean breeze as you’re taken out to one of two snorkel and dive destinations.

At the stunning Upolu Coral Cay Reef, you’ll learn about graceful blue-spotted stingrays, tenacious green sea turtles, bright damsel fish and other amazing creatures that call this reef their home, as you observe them from a glass bottom boat. You’ll then have the chance to see these inquisitive creatures up close, while snorkeling within the incredibly clear, turquoise water.

The second snorkel and dive site is the fascinating ‘Wonder Wall’, located on the outer edge of Upolu Reef. Here you will enjoy snorkelling on the top of the wall for easy viewing of all the marine life and coral. Maybe sign-up for the optional, certified or introductory guided dive, encountering a huge variety of aquatic flora and fauna, including hard and soft corals, giant clams, fans, turtles and a vast assortment of colorful tropical fish as you descend and meander along the side of the wall .

In between visiting these two sites, you’ll enjoy a smorgasbord lunch fit for a king. Enjoy smoked salmon, prawns, three types of cold meat, a chicken platter, three fresh salads and a variety of breads. After a relaxed six hours of diving and snorkelling, you’ll spend the trip home indulging in even more delicious food, arriving back at Cairns at around 4:30 pm.

The entire process was extremely seamless. The crew were very very attentive, knowledgeable and quick to service everyone onboard. The vessel it self itself was organized, clean with a comfortable ride and easy access on and off at swimming points. The diving instruction were awesome as they took my wife and I on our first ever scuba dive around the reef. It was amazing and we felt safe the entire way. We traveled with our 9year old son who lives the water and the captain and crew took him snorkeling out on the reef so my wife and I could experience the dive together. I’ll be back with them when I’m in Cairns again for sure

This was the 2nd day trip that I did to the reef in a week. The 1st was on a larger boat and was more commercial. This cruise was fantastic!!! The crew were absolutely awesome and the food was delicious! Easy to learn intro to scuba and the instructor was very patient with everyone who wanted to give it a go. Whilst not taking part in scuba, I was snorkelling. We had so much time in the water. I also enjoyed the drift snorkel that we did with a guide

Good sized boat which offered both sunny & shady spots to sit. We were greeted by the captain & offered tea / coffee fruit & pastries for breakfast. On route to the snorkelling site the crew introduced themselves & did a good clear safety briefing. Both snorkelling sites were excellent with an abundance of corals & seaside. Guided tours were offered from the crew. The first site also offered a glass bottom boat trip with a guide to take about the marine life. Lunch of salads, cold meats & prawns was excellent & was followed later by fresh fruit & cake. All necessary equipment was provided including stinger suits & instruction on how to use equipment was given. The crew were very knowledgeable but also great fun making for a fantastic day out. I would highly recommend it.
