You can choose to participate in the exhilarating sport of Moreton Island sand tobogganing, reaching speeds of up to 40km per hour. Perfect for everyone from beginners to thrill-seekers as you can choose your own pace.

If you have chosen the marine discovery cruise, you’ll journey along the coastline in search of dolphins, dugongs, green sea turtles, sea cucumbers, rays and more. The purpose-built discovery boat provides unobstructed views of Moreton Bay’s intriguing marine life. Enjoy full eco commentary, provided to explain the habitats and behaviours of the local marine creatures.

Throughout the day, you’ll also have a full access to the resort facilities including pools, restaurants and bars. At sunset, head to the jetty to see the family of wild dolphins as they grace the shores of Tangalooma Island Resort for their nightly feed.

Then, head back to the wharf to depart for Brisbane at approximately 7:00 PM. After the 75-minute return journey, you will arrive back in Brisbane at approximately 8:15 PM.

Very welcome to boarding, transfer to sea very calm, comfortable boat. On arrival we got a little lost in the center before finding the desck for the confirmation of our activity of the afternoon. Nice walk on the beach with a sand of incredible finesse to wreck site PMT. In the afternoon, departure by 4x4 bus for the desert sand. The guide is very friendly, we could not understand everything in all his explanations. Evening spent watching a sunset and the arrival of a first and a second dolphins in total it will be ten dolphins that we will have observed during their daily feast. Then return at night to the departure platform. Very nice day especially with ideal weather; blue sky, sun, and calm sea.

Great experience

Moreton Island is really beautiful. The boat trip takes about 75 minutes and is quite nice. On the island itself you still have the opportunity to do various things about water sports and activities. If you want to do a lot I recommend taking the ferry at 7. The desert Sarafi was very funny because of the sandboarding which is really fun. Our guide Paul was very funny and the boys took good pictures that you can buy afterwards if you like.

It is a place where you can easily touch nature. I was doing earthing for the whole day.

Restaurant meals are mainly carbohydrates. I wish I could eat more fresh vegetables, but if I wanted to bring it myself and eat it. The staff is open and helpful.
