Popular Meet the Locals in Berlin Wall

My local tour guide was an Italian resident in Berlin named Anna. Anna was allocated to me based on my preferences through pre-planning emails. I met my local guide at the lobby of my hotel, we had a quick overview and 8 hour later I was a local "Berliner" one can say. Anna was very sincere, knowledgeable and knew Berlin by heart. She informed me of things about the city and her experience with Berlin that I believe tour guides will not pull off. We walked from the East to the West of Berlin, had a boat tour, visited the local market, the main tourist attractions, jumped on metros as well. It was really a perfect experience. I highly recommend asking for Anna, as she really brings the fun to the tour but a bit of advice: wear good shoes as there will be LOTS of walking.

We had Celine as our tour guide and she was incredibly knowledgeable + insightful. What made it exceptional were all the first-hand accounts of the experiences her parents had gone through and the stories of all the people she had met along the way who had experienced the cold war. Would highly recommend Celine as your tour guide and seeing Berlin by bike is a great way to discover the city.

This tour gave us a comprehensive overview of the building of the Wall and the impact it had on the lives of Berliners. We also gained an insight into the way this history is being commemorated in what is no longer a divided city. Our guide was friendly and informative. A great way to cover a lot of ground if mobility is a problem. The pickup at our apartment was an added bonus.

Another great tour with Free Berlin... My second consecutive one in my short stay in Berlin. Dominic was lovely and very informative. Even about sites i had been to before i learned something new. Highly recommended
