What people are saying about Berlin

The Street Art Tour is a great choice - even if you know Berlin!

Inspired by various street art tours in other countries (recently in Mallorca and Lima), I had wondered why I never have taken part in a tour in Berlin - the great open space art gallery which is my home town. So I deciced to discover the stories behind the art pieces that I see every day - and it definitely turned out to be a good decision. We had a great tour guide: Cammy (I hope I spelt it the right way) who shared stories from behind the scenes and made us smile more than once. Although I live in Berlin for more than a decade (being sure that I know nearly everything about it), I learned a lot about its street art and music - embedded in the political context. I saw spots that I haven’t recognised so far in my Kreuzberg Kiez. I really enjoyed this tour and can highly recommend it.

Well organised trip with very experienced guide

First a multi langual guide that, even on his birthday, would lead the group of 14 in an enthousiatic way around the reichstag buildings. Gave a lot of background information on the surroundings. Second the professional german guide of reichstag explained in a detailed but still humoristic way the proceedings of reichstag employees. Lastly a walk around the rooftop and dome with splendid view over Berlin. Explanation with free audioguide multiple (also dutch) language. Good value for maney, to skip the line when free tours are already sold out.

I could not have hoped for a better guide and I’ve been with best.

Georgia is a master at sharing street art methods, social history and current happenings without putting us to sleep. She offered a good mix of “talk” time with “just absorb it” time. She was kind and helpful to me (way above and beyond duty) with some difficulties that I had brought on myself that day. I also appreciate the follow-up info that she sent. Watch out lest some other tour company doesn’t hire her away! PS— I never, NEVER (did I say NEVER?) write reviews. This is the first one in years.

Swen is a fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable tour guide.

Swen was great with our group. Our group were mostly blind/partially sighted but this didn't phase Swen, as it had done with other guides we have had in Berlin. His description of everything was clear, and the many various food stops along the way were wonderful. Some food tours flatter to deceive, but we were well and truly stuffed by the end and impressed all the way through. I would recommend this tour, and Swen, to any future groups.

Extremely interesting, architectural, historical, and informative tour

All in all this tour was every penny worth it... Eckie (Eckerhard) was the perfect guide. Funny and with great overall and personal historic knowlegde (Knowlegde of the german language is necessary on this tour. I translated to english my teenage son) We enjoyed the tour very much and the stay i the centre of the german political system. The "Kuppel" was fantastic.
