This is a long exhibition, easy to find and in a very interesting location (the Anhalter station bunker) with a lot of reading and standing - it is however excellent, well displayed material and photographs of WW1 and WW2 that I've never seen before - which made it well worth the visit. However you almost need a break (coffee and cake) during the visit to enable you to get to the end ........

Unfortunately I was only there at 4.30 p.m. and then only had 2.5 hours to see the exhibition. I would definitely have needed another 1 hour to read everything in detail as I did in the first "chapters". I found the exhibition to be well structured and provided with a lot of details, so that you got a comprehensive picture of the time before National Socialism and all about National Socialism. I am very interested in history - the exhibition was just right for me!

Dear refurbishment team, thank you for the really successful and intensive refurbishment. You really notice that it was close to your heart to find out how Hitler's radicalization came about. I had my 4 youngest children (ages 14-20) with me and thanks to your preparatory work I was able to convey to you very impressively what propaganda is capable of. And also link to today's mass media. If I may allow myself a little comment, this would be the following: At the point at which you describe the politically undoubtedly inexplicable appointment of Hitler as Chancellor, I would find it helpful to look at the questions of why, financing and of the political pressure that made this act possible, would have been discussed in more detail. It is certainly of minor importance for your core concerns, but would be helpful for a holistic understanding of events in the 20th century. God's blessing F. Renner
