What people are saying about Barcelona

Atmospheric, authentic, exhilarating dancers & marvellous musicians.

Although neither the hotel OR the cafe where we ate beforehand knew of this theater, we phoned the number and found directions. It is EASY to locate actually and quick walk if hotel based in city centre. don't be put off by the descent into gloomy underground passgeways! the theater is in basement BUT good stage with terrific seating all of which has good view of stage. presented as if at a campfire side, with ALL the performers SO involved in their own performing AND those of their fellows that you get drawn into the whole scenario. We speak no Spanish so couldn't understand the songs (would have been a great extra to have a small programme/flyer with song translations on it for non-Spanish speakers) BUT the raw energy and spectacular footwork of the 3 very different flamenco dancers was immensely powerful and mesmeric. For anyone who knows Asterix in Spain book....think Ole ! DO THIS SHOW !!

All year round flamenco dance show at the city of Barcelona

Not on time approx started 5 mins later but the show ended approx 53 mins. When we purchased it said have a drink. After we arrived the venue, we mentioned to the venue organizer, they were shocked. Then after discussed with manager said we could have a drink. Thought this point was not clear. Venue was okay as a theatre. Very English style underground theatre play. If you walked on the street, it would be easy pass by on the main street as at the corner of major streets. Dancers were excellent as we were flamenco practioner so we knew they were not trying to please most of the tourists but from the heart. For the price you paid compared to the capital of Spain to have a night of flamenco show. It was hard to beat!

Throughly enjoyable guide, food and dance.

It was Carlos and the two of us, so very personal. He was delightful, knowledgeable and personable. He told us lots of interesting facts and took us to the Jewish Synagogue after I asked him a question about it - in the most obscure place. The tapas bar was also off the main thoroughfare, quaint and delicious. Finally the flamenco was a tiny place, where we jumped the queue and got front row seats. It was very intimate and we felt every stamp of the foot and the immense passion that the musicians and singers had.

The show was amazing. I loved every part of it!

The dancers were so expressive and the whole show was professional. I would totally recommend it. The only thing that was annoying was the food serving which was ongoing during the show. It was distracting.

Wow what a great performance by the troupe!

Despite it being a Monday late night performance with a small crowd, the performance was passionate and powerful. I was thrilled with their talent and charisma. Bravo and ole!
