Very crowded excursion but awesome views at Gramvoussa

The excursion was wel organised, on the boat was plenty of food and drinks to buy and even a parasol for rent! The parasol you have to ‘fix’ at the beach with big rocks, otherwise the wind will blow it away. At Balos bay we didnt do the hike tour unfortunately, so we missed the view. The impression here was a beautiful lagoon, only far too overcrowded and very warm. Luckily at Gramvoussa we did hike up the stairs, to the fort, it looked harder than it was and were treated with awesome views all around the fort. It looked raw and authentic, no fences to protect you from falling down, so be careful with young children. After the hike a nice refreshing dip in the water and no time left to relax much, but it was ok

Great day on Gramvoussa island and Balos beach!

If you love the sea, don't mind a (optional) walk up a hill to see a beautiful fortress with exceptional views and like spending time on the white sands and turquoise waters of Balos Bay this is the trip for you! Forget about the loads of tourists and travel time, 5 hours in total (3 on the bus and 2 on the boat), and enjoy your day. Also.. don't forget your snorkel gear and sunscreen.

Excellent value for money - stunning views

All day trip fantastic value providing you book through get your guide. Get there early to secure a seat on the boat out the sun, reasonable prices on board for drinks and sun brolly (you will need €5 for deposit) Take lots of sun screen and a hat and sensible shoes for rocks and seeing the castle. Brilliant day out!

Incredible beaches! ...but lots of transit time

It's a great trip, well worth it - but be prepared to entertain yourself on a bus or ferry for many hours. It's maybe 11 hours total, with 3.5 hours on beaches and 7.5 in transit. Still great, nice views from the boat and bus, food on the boat, and the beaches are wonderful and well worth it. But bring a book!

Nice Trip to a beautiful lagoon, But many people.

The lagoon of balos is a "must See" , even if there are many people (Maybe 500-700 on the boat). Gramvousa is unspectacular. If you habe the choice check the weather, (it can be very Windy at the lagoon). Best Option might be to drive to lagoon with 4x4 Jeep and skipping Gramvousa and the crowded boat.
