What people are saying about Avignon

Nice places to visit, not the best schedule

The trip was very interesting, but I think there should be more time to visit Avignon rather there spending an hour in Les Boux or watching the Roman Pont du Gard, which you could do in 15 minutes. Very dissappointing wine tasting; the sommalier was extremely unfriendly, not explaining anything about wines we were trying. I guess they think their wines are so good and famous that they don't need any marketing, but what she was presenting was in fact anti-marketing. It spoilt somehow the overall impression of the trip.

Perfect service as much as wonderful view

Theres nothing to say about the sights and views. It was awesome and perfectly enough to impress someone. Historical arch of Orange was a good point to begining of journey and panoramic view of old theatre was very impressive. All of the villages of provence we visited was amazing. Guide Emmanuel was very very kind. He also speaks english very well so you dont need to worry about information of sights.

Provence Le Grand Tour: Full-Day from Avignon Reviewed by Lee, 24/07/2017

Informative and great to see the Châteauneuf-du-Pape area

I am now a huge fan of small group tours! So much more personal and without the big group 'crowd'. Violet was a great tour guide - and each of the activities were informative and interesting. The wine tasting was really informative. There is only so much you can pack into a 5 hour tour (and for the price you pay) this is worth it for a snapshot of the Provence area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day in the Provence countryside. Thank you.

Our guide, Ginny (Virginia), was very friendly and informative. She made the journeys in between the locations fun and was very happy to answer questions etc. Each location was worth stopping at although it would have been nice to have longer in the village near the Quarry of Lights. But overall it was very enjoyable and we are glad we signed up.

Great trip combined history and wineyard visit

We joint Friday morning tour, was little worried if too early for wine, but turned out there were a nice place (Theatre Orange) to visit first then wineyard after. Perfect for the half day. Our lady guide Doreen explained every places well and took us around smoothly. Timing was good and we enjoyed it all.
