Atherton Tablelands: Tours & Tickets

It was very nice to see so much of Queensland in one day. But it was more driving than expected. We didn’t really see any animals besides turtles, but the was a very good spirit and laughter at this trip. Andrew was a nice guide with an awesome sense of humour and had a lot of good stories. It made our day very good The pick Up information was not clear, it said that we didn’t get picked up unless we stayed in cairns, but pick up location was our address in palm cove. We didn’t get information about that and time of pick up, only when we made a call to the informationcenter. It’s pretty expensive to make a call down here, so an email with this information had been super.

Great way to enjoy nature however rougher then we will all thought. I expected lots of floating and a bit of bumps but to be honest it was the other way round. It is not suitable for everyone you need a level of fitness as you do get tossed about. I am bruised quit a bit and only fell off once. Research a bit better them we did as there was only one person supporting us and really it needed 2 one at front and one at rear to keep us moving and to assist when we all had a tumble. Our guide however was great and supportive .Would I do it again absolutely NOT, others in the group however would. It was not just exactly what I thought.

Hands down, one of the best tours we’ve been on. The tour guide Simon was very genuine and knowledgeable, he made us feel safe and took us to very unique and interesting places. Absolutely fantastic experience! We recommend this tour to everyone visiting Cairns.

Interesting day seeing a range of environments and enjoying a variety of foods and drinks. Bret was great. Do it at the start of your holiday so you can buy some goodies to enjoy during your stay.
