One cannot visit Athens and NOT go on a tour of the Acropolis. We had a really fun time exploring, and our guide Alexia was so nice and knowledgeable... we really appreciated her explanations and the things she was pointing out to us, not just on the site but what we could see from the top. She also gave us some recommendations for other things to do in the city, and was interested in learning about us, which was above and beyond what we expected. The museum was really interesting, but the walk up to and around the Acropolis itself is truly amazing. If you only want to do one organized tour in Athens, make it this one.
Our guide George was excellent and ensured we had a wonderful day! All equipment was safe and clean according to government guidelines. You do not need any Kayaking experience before going on this trip as all is explained by a qualified guide. Dry bags can be provided on previous request and flip flops are fine for the activity. Sunset at Poseidon’s temple: priceless. Dinner was on the beach, almost with our feet in the water!
Olina our sommelier was amazing at explaining how to recognise top quality wine, and how to recognise different tastes, bodies and finish. She was knowledgeable about all the different types of Greek wine, their regions and how the wine is grown. Great value for money, perfect for novices or those who have never recognised the diversity of Greek wines. Highly recommend!!
Tour fantastique.
The guide (Kelly) was very good in telling the stories, which made the 4 hours pass by very quickly. I didn't want it to end. You do have to buy the entrance tickets to all the sites yourself (not included in the tour) which is 30 euros. So everything together it's almost 100 euros per person, which I think is quite expensive.
