Enjoy a boutique tour perfect for architecture and history buffs in a group of no more than 6 participants. Your Asheville city tour starts downtown. Look at the glorious art-deco architecture and listen to a detailed history of the area. Then, venture to the beautiful Riverside Cemetery for a comprehensive tour. In the cemetery, stop at graveyards and delve into the intriguing history of many of Asheville's past literary and/or notable residents including William Sydney Porter (aka O'Henry), Thomas Wolfe and his family, and the 'founding fathers' of Asheville. Find out about Asheville's connection to the cursed Hope Diamond. Enjoy getting to know your guide and spending quality time laughing and learning outside in the fresh air.
