GO tours had no technology. In a tour of 40 some odd people it is imperative to hear what is being said to have a good tour. Unless you were within 15 feet of the guide you heard nothing. Very large competing tours giving their commentary 20 feet away as there were large crowds. Extremely hard to hear at some times. Use of ear microphones would have been advantageous so the whole tour could hear not just the first 10 people who were able to keep up on the line up. The guide was short so it was often difficult to find her in the sea of other tours that were there at the same time. It would have helped if she would carry a flag or marker so her tour could recognize where she was going. Bus trip to Delphi was long so carrying a book or music to listen to would be a good idea.

My son and I had a great trip to Delphi. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and fueled our journey with ancient stories of Delphi. The site of Delph is beautiful and the museum is amazing, better artefacts than the Acropolis museum, in my opinion. The only down side is the cost drinks at the obligatory stop off. And the whole trip feels rushed. No time to sit and meditate at the ancient site of Delphi and no time to study and contemplate the artefacts in the museum. For that reason I would recommend a longer trip and overnight stay. The local village is idyllic.

Awesome tour and tour guide -Kostas. Made a good overview of the main historical events that shaped classical era Athens and peppered it with some mythological stories to set the scene for what was expecting us at Delphi. One of the best guides we had in over 11 European countries that we visited so far. Also, hats off to Lukas, the driver, who made us feel really safe on the narrow and slopey roads leading to Delphi.

My mum and I did this trip during our three night stay in Athens. Our tour guide, Effie, was extremely knowledgeable throughout the trip, retelling mythical stories, pointing out areas of interest and bringing the Temple of Apollo to life. The meeting point was very easy to find, the spot for lunch was beautiful and the short stop in Arachova was lovely! I would definitely recommend doing this trip!!

My friend and I enjoyed the tour and the guide. The tour involved a lot of incline walking and it’s a little slippery in some places and included heights so please consider that before booking. The lunch was good but not great! Our tour guide was Anastasia and she was very pleasant and knowledgeable!!! If only the people in our group could properly tell time it would’ve been a perfect day!!
