I had made the tour two years ago with our grandson but my brother,visiting from the East Midlands was keen to see 'Anfield' close up.I had feared that the self-help audio tour would be second best rather than experienced guides;but they were there ,anyway, with genuine good humour & a passion for LFC.Behind the scenes facilities are amazing.The whole stadium is so clean.The sheer scale is wmqzing ,especially seen from the top of the Main Stand.No one is hurriedor shepherded, lots of photo-ops. Arrangements were seam-less & straight-forward;can recommend 'Get your guide'
We both thoroughly enjoyed it, packed with information, especially about Bill Shankley, but I had info for them, as he lived next to my great uncle in WORKINGTON, managing WORKINGTON REDS, my fathers cousin told me this two weeks before we went on our hol to the City. My grandfather & mam was from there. The bus was on time both leaving the City & coming back from Anfield, will definitely recommend the trip & join it next time we down. Reasonable price as well, well done.
Brilliant guides , especially the two in the press room who we heard singing and bouncing before we got in there , made us all welcome but mostly made my children feel so special . Also the guide at the players entrance went out of his way to make my boys feel special , the thrill on there faces spoke volumes . We loved every minute of it . Thanks to you all .
This tour was booked to celebrate my dad’s 93rd birthday. He’s been a Liverpool supporter all his life and he loved every minute of the tour. The two stewards in the press room are comedy gold. The good thing is you are allowed to take your own time around the stadium. A great time was had by all of us, even more who hates football.
So well ran, great ,helpful , informative stewards and staff... Been a fan for over 45 years and I have to say what a fantastic afternoon out...took my 8yr old son and he hasn't stopped asking about it since.. Well done Liverpool football club, the best team, fans and staff in Europe # 6x times Keith and Alfie......Skelmersdale....
